Prior to joining SKN, Alejandra was a litigation associate at a boutique law firm in Miami, focusing primarily on business litigation matters. Before entering private practice, Alejandra clerked for the Honorable Jacqueline Becerra in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida; and she served as an Assistant Public Defender in Miami-Dade County, representing hundreds of clients throughout all stages of their cases.
Alejandra earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was Managing Editor of the Inter-American Law Review. While in law school, she interned for the Honorable Adalberto Jordan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Puerto Rico, and earned several academic honors.
